This time we were given a task with mandatory conditions: a leisure center with a universal spectator hall and a cafe.
Then we had to come up with three additional functions for our center, given that its purpose is of a district type.
I chose a place in the square near a small lake. There are ruins of an old chess club on the selected site, so I decided that it would be a good upgrade of the area.
Using the existing conditions, namely "the lake", "the park", "the silence" and "the old chess club" I came up with such functions as: a library, a book club and co-working spaces.
I wanted to create the most simple and peaceful space, so that people would like to come and relax, be in silence and enjoy a corner of nature.
In order to support the idea of a calm and quiet pastime and unity with nature, I decided to support the general concept with the materials used in the decoration.
Wood, concrete and glass have become the main materials in decoration, simple, pleasant and understandable.

I also decided to build a closed, unused patio and planted it with decorative cereal plants that are unpretentious to weather conditions and almost don't need care.
